Mac ’n’ Cheese and Roasted Cauliflower
In the kitchen, the technique to capture the flavors of each food is to cook them in an independent way, these they conserve the juices, and it will avoid them to mix some with the other ones in oneself plate.
For this plate, we will prepare Mac ‘n’ Cheese, and roasted Cauliflower, each food will make it separately and then we unite them in a rich plate. Let us begin with the macaroni:
- 300 grams of Macaroni, cooked in abundant water and salt, already drained
- 200 grams of cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup of starch of corn
- 250 grams of cauliflower
- 150 grams of carrots
- 2 red paprikas
- 1 onion
- 2 spoonfuls of garlic
- Spices and salt to the pleasure
- 2 oregano spoonfuls
- 3 spoonfuls of olive oil
- ¼ cup butter
In a pot, prepare a sauce of species with wáter, and the starch of corn. Before taking to the fire, well diluted, with liquid consistency, then in the fire It adds butter, black pepper, cumin, achiote and of last milled oregano. Add more water to create a cream that will use later on with the macaroni.
In a pan, with 3 spoonfuls of olive oil, add the cauliflower, carrots, paprika, chopped onion, a tiny piece of salt and pepper and remove until roasting.
We prepare in a bowl, the cooked macaroni, and revolve adding, the sauce, the cauliflower roasted together with all the ingredients. Alternate in a mold of oven several layers of macaroni with cheese and sauce, until filling the mold with the last layer of cheese to grate. Take to the oven for 20 minutes to 170 grades until the cheese is grated, to serve to the pleasure.
